Our Story

Siesta Key Craft Cocktails is a family-owned business with a rich history and a passion for crafting unforgettable drinks. Our story begins in the early 1960s, at a small bar called the Manila Grill in Ohio, where our grandfather—an expert mixologist—first became renowned for his unique cocktail infusions. His creations were so beloved that customers would have him ship the mixes (without the alcohol) to their homes, allowing them to enjoy his signature flavors long after leaving the bar.

In the late 1970s, our grandfather retired, sold the Manila Grill, and moved to Venice, Florida. But his love for cocktails never faded. He continued captivating his neighbors at local parties, creating delicious, one-of-a-kind drinks that left everyone asking for more. During a visit in 1999, we watched him make his magical cocktail mixes, combining dried fruits, herbs, and sugars in mason jars. We brought those jars back home—and when friends and family tasted them, they went wild!

The last drink we shared with him was on Siesta Key Beach in 2002, and it was then that we promised to bring his legacy to life. After years of reflection, experimentation, and a little bit of serendipity, we’ve finally made his dream a reality.
